baby food jar pincushion/sewing kit

I don't have babies anymore but I got a ton of baby food jars that I have saved for the "one day I might need them" or "I can make something out of these!" (I just did not know what at the time).
So, I made a pincushion for the FAA exchange (this stands for Fabric Addicts Anonymous, the right flickr group for me). Anyway, I think is kind of cute, specially because I used the little jars.
Sorry I don't write much about me on my blog; too busy crafting :)

I love this! Can I ask you how you made it? This would be perfect for holding spare needles/pins in the bottom. :)

Cool!

I can only find instructions for making those pin cushions out of Mason jars... with the lids made of two pieces. How did you do that with the baby jar lids?

Thanks!

Do you have a tutorial for this pincushion?

What a great idea! I could make all kinds of gifts by filling jars. Did you use polyester fiberfill for the inside?
